The light place parallel to the wall allows most of the light to hit the model with very little spill on to the wall.

The model is able to pose effortless with in this pool of light

Good diagonals from the pose using the bow of the blouse work nicely here

I was working with Carla in a local studio and wanted to create some fashion images using a bandana that Carla had brought along with her. The decision on styling was to use the cream blouse with the bandana. I chose to light the set with a single studio flash head fitted with a gridded softbox, This was placed just off the wall to the right hand side of the model, Which created a pool of light on the blouse and face with a slight spill onto the wall behind her.
