This was my first shoot with Xenia, she is a Russian born model. Who is now based in Sheffield, and you can see her website by clicking on this link

The images were all shot at Silkwood studios in Cleckheaton a studio I have used many times before.

If I am working with dancers locally then I will shoot them at Silkwood as it has a good ceiling height and a good curve to work against. You can see a few of the images of Erica Mulkern shot at that location by using this link.

Xenia is a published model and is good to work with. For this session we worked on a range of styles. From simple styled fashion to a more edgy fashion look.

The lighting set up for most of the images shown above was a single studio flash, fitted with a large octa soft box. A grid was also added to give a more controlled light spread.

A selection of images featuring the French model and dancer Boou. She is based in London and so we setup a remote shoot via zoom for communications and using then using a remote desk top connection to control of the camera via the internet. So I could see what the camera was focusing on and control the taking of the image.

They were all shot using the location natural light.
