Mimi Deskua is a fine art model based in Geneva, Switzerland. When I spotted that she was going to be in the area. I arranged to work with her at my local studio : Silkwood.

For this set of images I wanted a simple lighting set up that gave soft transition across the model. I placed a medium octa fitted with a grid to control the spread of the light. This was placed to the right hand side of the model and feathered it away from the background. This gave me separation between the model and background. By moving around the set different view points gave a slightly different mood for the set of images. However the positioning of the light source did not changed.

The images were all shot in monochrome with the Fuji film ARCOS + G filter film setting.

Mimi Deskua was good to work with, and I was pleased with the results we created together.
