Elle Beth – Red Chair. NSFW
Here is a collection of 9 images featuring the model Elle Beth and a red chair. They were all shot in an old warehouse location in central Nottingham. The lighting of these images was just the available natural window light of the location.
After scouting the location we found an old broken red chair that I felt would make a good prop for this set of images with Elle Beth. The theme of the set was around the idea of Elle finding an old lost chair, which was now in sad state of repair and the memories emotions it brought back .
Elle who I have worked with a number of times in recent years, produced a good set of different poses which I thought showed different emotion in each image in the set.
The choice of monochrome seemed to suit the subject and location. As in colour the red of the chair seem to dominate the image a bit too much in some of the shots. However the image below I kept in colour as the skin tones worked well against the red chair in this pose.
The images above were all processed in Lightroom including converting to monochrome. They were then exported into Photoshop for a few tweeks and final finishing.

10 Years of image making
How quick has this last 10 years gone ?
It been a great decade for my imaging making.
I have worked with some great creatives over the last 10 years.
These includes – Make Up Artistis, Hair Stylists, Stylists and of course the Models.
We have shot many different genre of images from Fashion, through to Artistic Nudes.
Both on location and in the studio.
January Print of the Month
Happy New Year!
My pick for the January 2020 Print of the Month is entitled: Mischkan in the rock opening.
For this print of the month I chose to work up an image from a location shoot with the model Mischkah Scott. Who is now based in Trondheim, Norway. Misckah is an experienced and creative model and is fun to work with.
The image was shot on location in Warwickshire area. The area had some interesting openings to work with. Mischkah was able to get into this particual opening and make a great figure shape. The soft tones of her skin against the roughness of the surrounding rock, were a feature that I particulary liked in this shot

Highlights of 2019
As we reach the end of year it is time to put some highlights of 2019 from my photography year together.
In January I worked with Stephanie Dubois a uk based freelance model. Stephaine had been on my list of models I want to work with for a while. So it was good to get to work with her.
Highlights of 2019 images:
January also gave me a chance to shoot some Ski racing in the Ski resort of Tignes. The European Alpine skiing cup was taking place the week we were there. Unfortuately the final parallel slalom races took place in heavy snow. So not easy conditions for the racers or photograhers.
I also got a visit to the Black country living museum in Dudley which gave the chance for a few location portraits using natural light.
Walters wardrode productions, opened it doors with two events which I attended. One in April and the other in early October, both of which were great. Good models and high class fashion designer outfits to shoot in fantastic locations.
Walters Wardrobe images:
Electric Dreams
Another fashion shoot but with a very different look and styling was the Electric Dreams themed shoot – Styled by Ivory Flame. Featuring designers Yummy Gummy Latex, MUA Gemma Howell and hair by Even Huang
A new model to work with this year from the Midlands we had an enjoyable shoot in April.
I also found two other Aerialist to work with Fanny Müller who is a dancer as well as an Aerialist. Allegra who is a trapeze artist and instructor. I created some great and different images with both of them.

It is good to look back at the highlight of the year and the 2018 highlights can be found here.
December Print of the Month
My pick for the December 2019 Print of the Month is entitled: The trio at the fire exit.
For this December print of the month I chose to work up an image from a location shoot with the three of the top UK Artistic Nude figure models Ivory Flame, Ella Rose and Nicole Rayner.
The image created on location in Lancashire. The location an old mill had this metal stair platform that appeared to go no where. This structure situated in front of the window looked interesting. On the wall behind was a steel ladder and the Fire Escape sign.
The window provided some great natural light for the models to work within. I asked each one to create their own pose using the steel stair way and ladder at the back. This was one that I liked the shapes they had created.

The Berlin Wall and its Wall Art – a few of my favourite images of those murals.
It was 30 years ago since the fall of the Berlin Wall on Saturday the 9th November. The news coverage reminded me that during a visit to Berlin we had gone to visit the remaining bits of the Berlin Wall. The Wall which for many years was a symbol of division has now become the world’s largest open-air gallery, featuring 105 murals by artists from across the globe. So here are a few images from my visit to see the iconic structure and the art murals that still adorn it
The street view of the long section of the Wall and its murals
The Wall art murals were mainly painted in the 1990, although a number of them have been repainted as a result of either the work being damaged by vandalism or deterioration due to weather.
‘The Kiss’ is such a mural and was repainted in March 2009.
At this section of the wall, you can step into what would have been known as no mans land between two sections of the wall. The River Spree flows behind the left hand section showed here. Then the major wall with the murals is at the right hand side of the image.
So here are a few of my favourite Wall art panels:
I have featured just a few of the 150 plus iconic murals that can be viewed at the open air gallery. I would certainly recommend anyone visiting the city to take your camera and capture your own images of what is left of the Berlin Wall, and its art work.
November Print of the Month
My pick for the November 2019 Print of the Month is entitled: Rough and Smooth.
For this November print of the Month I chose to work up an image from a location shoot with the model Elle Beth. This was shot at a location in Warwickshire.
I have chosen the title as the model was making her strong figure shapes in a sandstone rock opening. The sand stone had lots of rough textures and the shape of the opening enabled Elle to reach to the roof and make a strong shape which also allowed her full long fair to come into play. I have tried to maintain the sandstone textures and contrast that roughness with the smoothness of the models skin.
I have worked with Elle Beth a number of times over the past few years and she is a top full time model, and can do fashion looks as well as Artistic Nude studies. Her tall frame and toned feminine figure together with her long full hair and English rose skin suited well to working in this location.

October Print of the month
I have been busy printing over recent days and today I have decided to start a print of the month post. The idea being that I will share with you one of my prints that I have created in that given month.
The first print for the month which for October 2019 is titled, “Back Curves” and is part of my ‘Other view series’ to be published in the near future.
It features the UK model – Ivory Flame and is from a studio session with the her. I have worked with Ivory Flame many times over the last few years and always enjoy working with her as we always seem to create great images. If you are looking for a great Artistic Nude model, to work with I can recommend her as one to work with.
The image was inspired by the work of Horst P. Horst among others and the idea was to try and show the beauty of the back curves and shapes
I have worked with Holly many times over the last few years and alway enjoy working with her as we alway seem to make great images.
